Coleman McCleneghan PhD taught an Identifying Mushrooms Workshop for AMC on October 4, 2008 at Warren Wilson College. 

In this workshop we learned how to start the process of identifying mushrooms.  Techniques essential to mushroom identification such as spore prints, using a scientific key, and how to make mushroom descriptions were explored in depth. 

The attendees were Jackie and Barry Schieb, Sheila Dunn, Dave Kolb, Linda Marchant, Nancy Byers, Ken McGill, Ginger Fisher, Melvin Curtis, Mark Brenner, and Jean Reber from MCG our affiliated club in the Atlanta area.
