At our October monthly meeting, Michael Gentry of “Everyone Cooks” did a comedic cooking demonstration on how to cook with mushrooms. Michael is a lifelong forager and chef who loves to teach and get people excited about cooking. We learned several simple and delicious ways to prepare shitake, lobster, and puffball mushrooms. Michael also shared a sampling of foods from local farms. We all enjoyed a gourmet meal, good company and lots of laughter. Thanks so much to Michael and everyone who made this happen.
